Christine R. Harris, O.D.

Dr. Christine Harris is the newest addition to the LaserVue team. She joined Drs. Magruder and Boodram in July 2006.

Dr. Harris was born and raised in Fort Wayne, IN. After graduating in the top ten of her high school class, she went on to Indiana University - Bloomington where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology. While at Indiana University she volunteered at a local hospital and was a member of Phi Mu sorority.

In 2002 she was accepted to the Indiana University School of Optometry where she earned her Doctor of Optometry degree. While in optometry school, she was associate instructor for contact lens and was a member of the American Optometric Student Association.

Dr. Harris completed a year of internships in contact lens, ocular disease, low vision, pediatrics, and refractive surgery where she found her passion at LaserVue. She graduated from Indiana University School of Optometry in May of 2006. After graduation, she returned to LaserVue to pursue her residency in Refractive Surgery and Ocular Disease. Dr. Harris was asked to remain on staff at LaserVue after completion of her residency training in 2007.

Dr. Harris is a member of the American Optometric Association and the Florida Optometric Association. She holds licenses in Indiana and Florida. She resides in Altamonte Springs.
